San Pancho, Nayarit, Mexico – Entreamigos, an active community center in San Pancho, is currently holding its annual November fundraising campaign, “Where Possibility Begins,” to support its vital educational and social programs. What started in 2006 with a simple kitchen table in the middle of a street has blossomed into a comprehensive community center housed in a large, sustainably-designed facility.
The Entreamigos center is a cornerstone for local residents, featuring a bilingual library, a computer center, and an array of free classes and workshops, including after-school programs focused on art and music. It also runs a successful scholarship initiative, an extensive recycling operation, a gift store, and the Recicla thrift shop. This extensive offering confirms its role as a hub for creativity, learning, and connection, where the San Pancho community can gather and grow in a safe environment.
This November, the organization is launching a special appeal to the generosity of individuals and families who believe in creating lasting change. A unique matching challenge ensures that every cash or online donation made during the month will be doubled by an anonymous donor, up to a total of $10,000 USD. Adding to the excitement, the organization is hosting an Online Auction featuring remarkable experiences and treasures. Supporters can bid on items ranging from vacation homes and local dining experiences to wellness services like massages and Pilates classes, as well as beautiful artwork. Every bid directly supports education and community enrichment in San Pancho.
The community is invited to join an in-person celebration on November 18 at 5:00 pm at the Entreamigos facility. This festive evening will feature live music by the talented Jeff Oster, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and the presentation of both the in-person and online auction results. Notably, the entrance fee for this celebration will also be matched dollar-for-dollar, further maximizing the impact of attendance.
