From U.S. Voter Registration Assistance and a Presidential Debate Watch Party to a fun-filled Fourth of July Celebration, there’s something for everyone.
Vote From Abroad Assistance
Did you know that U.S. citizens are able to vote from abroad? If you are a U.S. citizen who will be voting from abroad in 2024, request your ballot TODAY! We have trained volunteers available to answer your questions and assist you in filing your FPCA (registration/ballot request). Ballot requests should be filed at the beginning of each calendar year, but it’s not too late! Primary season continues until August. We are offering voter assistance on Wednesday, June 26, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, on the patio near the pool, at Let’s Pho PV Vietnamese Kitchen. Let’s Pho is located at Lázaro Cárdenas 179, in the Puerto Vallarta Romantic Zone. (Click HERE for Google Map) Feel free to RSVP to let us know you can make it… or just show up! Dinner & Debate Watch Party in Bucerías
Join us in beautiful Bucerías for the first U.S. Presidential Debate on June 27th. We will be at The Goalie Sports Bar, starting at 6:30 pm, to prepare for the debate. The debate starts at 7:00 pm; come early to get a good seat, and order food & drinks. We will also offer voter assistance and information during this event. Take advantage of this opportunity to stop by and register or request your ballot. The Goalie Sports Bar is located at Venustiano Carranza s/n, right in the downtown Bucerías plaza, and includes an awesome view of the ocean! It is a great place to watch any sport of your preference on their large tv screens, with delicious pizzas, hamburgers, wings and BBQ ribs. Please RSVP to let us know if you can make it.
Celebrate Independence Day at Casita & Garden
Join fellow Democrats in Puerto Vallarta for a special Independence Day Happy Hour on July 4th, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, at the beautiful Casita & Garden Restaurant located at Calle Naranjo 321 in the Puerto Vallarta Romantic Zone. Enjoy live entertainment by Joan Houston and Bing Young while indulging in complimentary appetizers provided by Democrats Abroad. There will also be a special drink offer: two-for-one white or red wine. Of course, the full menu will be available for purchase. While there is no charge to attend, consider making a donation of $15 or more to help Democrats Abroad reach potential voters in the greater Banderas Bay area. Donations can be made online – even if you can’t attend the event. Need help requesting your absentee ballot to vote from abroad? Democrats Abroad can assist you with the process.
