Digital Tools and New Facilities Arrive at Cuauhtémoc School

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Education is taking a significant step forward in Puerto Vallarta, thanks to the commitment shown by the administration of Luis Munguía. Mayor Munguía recently visited the Cuauhtémoc Federal Elementary School in the San Esteban neighborhood to bring exciting news and valuable resources to the students.

During his visit, Mayor Munguía personally delivered new tablets to students in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. These digital devices were met with great excitement and will serve as powerful tools, giving young learners access to a wealth of new educational resources and modernizing their classroom experience. School Principal Lucio Castellanos expressed deep gratitude for the donation, recognizing how these tools will positively impact student learning.

The visit became even more memorable when parents and students voiced a long-standing need. Parent Perla Pelayo Flores and student Alexa Valentina González spoke up, formally requesting the construction of a covered area for the school’s civic plaza. This facility would allow all students to participate in outdoor activities, assemblies, and physical education classes without being affected by the weather.

Mayor Munguía was quick to respond with a welcome announcement. He confirmed that the construction of the covered plaza will begin in January. This news was a moment of great celebration for the entire school community and neighborhood residents, who have been advocating for this improvement for years. The mayor also assured the community that the administration is planning to rehabilitate local streets and implement other projects to improve the San Esteban neighborhood overall.

The delivery of technology and the promise of new infrastructure highlight the current administration’s focus on supporting the growth and development of Puerto Vallarta’s students and communities, turning long-awaited projects into reality.
