Dinner in White Benefits PEACEAnimals Free Spay & Neuter Clinics

Puerto Vallarta is known for its vibrant traditions, breathtaking views, and strong sense of community. On Wednesday, December 3, 2025, locals and visitors alike will gather at one of the city’s most celebrated venues – the Michelin-starred Hacienda San Angel – for an unforgettable evening that combines fine dining, elegance, and philanthropy.

The event, titled Sit, Sip & Support: A Dinner in White, will benefit PEACEAnimals, a local nonprofit dedicated to reducing animal suffering through free spay and neuter clinics across the Banderas Bay region. Since its founding, PEACEAnimals has sterilized more than 65,000 cats and dogs free of charge, transforming neighborhoods into healthier, safer, and more compassionate places for both people and animals.

A Night to Remember
Guests will don stylish white attire – with a special nod to fascinators and creative headpieces – for this elegant gala under the stars. The evening will feature a multi-course gourmet dinner, wine and beer service, live entertainment, and a silent auction with unique items generously donated by local businesses and supporters.

In a special tribute, the fundraiser will also be dedicated to the memory of Gretchen DeWitt, the late co-founder of PEACEAnimals, whose vision and commitment laid the foundation for the organization’s lifesaving work. Her daughter, Cairo, will serve as Master of Ceremonies, honoring Gretchen’s enduring legacy.

Community Impact
The funds raised during this event will directly support PEACEAnimals’ mobile clinics, which bring veterinary care to underserved communities. In 2024 alone, PEACEAnimals sterilized 8,423 animals – a record-setting achievement that would not have been possible without the support of donors, volunteers, and veterinarians Anthony, Leslie, and Pacheco, along with tireless community helpers like John and a team of dedicated volunteers.

These efforts not only prevent thousands of unwanted litters, but also reduce suffering, improve public health, and protect local wildlife. In some neighborhoods, families line up as early as 3:00 am to ensure their pets receive care – a testament to both the need and the trust PEACEAnimals has built over the years.

Join the Celebration
With only 72 seats available, this will be one of the most exclusive and meaningful nights of the year in Puerto Vallarta. Guests are encouraged to reserve tables early, invite friends, and celebrate the spirit of giving in style.
