Act2PV is excited to invite you to the 1st annual celebration of Danny Mininni’s Legacy! This event promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with Italian-themed cocktails, music, dance, and heartwarming stories shared by the people who loved him most.
Danny’s Legacy is a celebration of the life and accomplishments of Danny Mininni, who touched the hearts of so many people with his infectious personality, warm smile, and genuine kindness. Attendees will come together to honor his memory and celebrate the positive impact he had on each of their lives.
The event will feature an Italian-themed cocktail party with delicious food and drinks, as well as performances by many of Danny’s favorite singers and dancers. There will also be stories from those who knew him and loved him, and there will be plenty of opportunities to share memories and reminisce about his life.
Most importantly, this event is about love – the love that Danny gave so freely to everyone he met, and the love that continues to be shared with each other. We hope that you will join us for this special evening as we celebrate our Danny.
Act2PV Auditions
Saturday & Sunday, March 25 & 26
Attention all aspiring performers! Act2PV is thrilled to announce upcoming auditions for the two Broadway musicals, La Cage Aux Folles and Rocky Horror Show, that will be performed at Act2PV during the 2023/2024 season! Auditions will be held on March 25 & 26, and all interested individuals are encouraged to participate. Experience is not necessary, and while English is helpful, it’s not required. (Your audition may also place you on a list for further consideration of other roles.)
Prior to the opening of each show, Act2PV will provide at least 8 weeks of professional acting instruction, vocal coaching, and dance coaching for all participants. This is your chance to realize your dreams and showcase your special talents on the stage! Bring a USB with two songs that show off your voice, and get ready to impress our judges.

TWO NIGHTS ONLY! Wapayasos Y Horripicosos is a group of hot and sexy young men (clowns) from Guadalajara that are singers, comedians, and dancers, and play interactive games with the audience. The group originally started out as clowns in a children’s show, but they found that adults loved the clowns even more than kids, so this show became a bachelor-party type show several years ago. The Wapayasos have a huge following around Mexico and they are excited to be presenting this show for the first time in Puerto Vallarta! Direct from Broadway, John Michael Dias stars as “Miss Evita Loca,” a sassy, brassy “matchy matchy” drag queen who is a cross between Patti Lupone and Ricky Martin. She will take you on an ALL-LIVE SINGING musical journey and provide you with an inside peek at Evita’s HERstory, hopes, and dreams.
John Michael Dias (“Miss Evita Loca”) is a professional Broadway singer/actor with a BFA in Musical Theater from the Boston Conservatory. Some of his Broadway credits include playing the role of Neil Sedaka in the Tony and Grammy Award-winning production of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, as well as the First National Tour. He also played Frankie Valli in the smash hit, Jersey Boys, on Broadway, as well as in the First National Tour, Vegas, and Chicago companies.
He has performed with vocal group, The Doo-Wop Project, and produced a solo album, “Write This Way,” which features intimate takes on Broadway and pop favorites like Can’t Take My Eyes off of You and New York State of Mind. His album is currently available on ITunes.

Her selection of songs by some of the greatest jazz vocalists of all time, including Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Samara Joy, Edith Piaf, Melody Gardot, Diana Krall and more, is a testament to the quality of music that will be performed.
