While he initially pursued architecture at UNAM, his passion for watercolor, nurtured by studies under Lorenza Capdevielle, ultimately guided his path.
A planned short trip through Baja California in 2020 turned into an extended stay due to unforeseen global events. During this time, a gift of art supplies ignited a creative spark, leading Sánchez Corona to discover his true calling. The warm reception his artwork received from both locals and expats solidified his decision to dedicate himself to painting.
For the past four years, Sánchez Corona has journeyed across Mexico, gathering inspiration for his evocative pieces. His collection at Galleria Dante reflects these experiences, offering glimpses into the landscapes and moments that have resonated with him.
