Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The 2019/2020 season, as many of you know, was cut short by COVID-19. Many of you had to cancel vacations entirely, starting in February or frantically change tickets to return early, under governmental orders, from your country of origin.
Galleria Dante and Di Vino Dante followed all the rules and regulations and temporarily closed our doors on March 20th until the Mexican government gives us the green light to reopen. At this time we are uncertain when that will be.
We continue to pay the salaries of our 35 employees and try to support as many of the 60 artists that we exhibit. We thank all of you who have purchased from us over the years, and especially these last few months, as it helps cover some of our costs. We will not be closing in September this year, due to the extended time off we are enduring now.
Many of you who did not get a chance to visit this season were not able to partake in our newly renovated spaces both in the gallery and restaurant. We left a space for an elevator, which we are still hoping to install this summer.
The gallery space is much more open and has also expanded onto the 2nd floor restaurant. We now have several event spaces, 2 air-conditioned private areas, and upon reopening, Di Vino Dante’s new hours will be from 10 am to 9 pm with a new and exciting menu (Brunch, lunch and early dinner).
We continue to updated the art gallery’s website, please visit and let us know if there is anything you can’t live without. We offer a lay away plan, so you do not miss out on your favorite “one of a kind” works of art!
Also available: Gift Certificates (in any denomination $) which can be used from May 1st, 2020 to May 31st, 2021 towards works by the artist of your choosing. We are also available by appointment, if you or your designer happen to be in town, you can contact us at: 044-322-150-5148 or by email: galleriadante(at)gmail.com or galleriadanteart(at)gmail.com.
