Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Celebrate the season with the Vallarta Symphony Orchestra (OSV) and Instituto de Artes Musicales Puerto Vallarta (IAMPV) as they present In Terra Pax: Christmas Concert of the Vallarta Symphony Orchestra. This annual holiday tradition promises an enchanting evening of music and community spirit.
The OSV, led by Maestro Aquiles Morales, will take the stage alongside the Bucerías and Puerto Vallarta Choirs, Coro Virreinal Rita Guerrero from Mexico City, and special international soloists. The concert centerpiece, Johann Sebastian Bach’s Magnificat, will be performed for the first time in Puerto Vallarta, accompanied by beloved Christmas carols to spread holiday joy.
Performances will take place on December 15 at the American School in Marina Vallarta and December 16 at Salon Paraiso in Nuevo Nayarit, both beginning at 7 PM.
Proceeds from these concerts support IAMPV’s educational initiatives, including programs for young musicians and the Vallarta Symphony Orchestra. Attending these concerts not only promises a magical musical experience but also helps nurture the next generation of talent in Puerto Vallarta.

IAMPV (Instituto de Artes Musicales Puerto Vallarta) is a non-profit educational music institute whose mission is to bring the joy of music to children and young adults in the greater Banderas Bay area. This is accomplished through a comprehensive program with many levels of instruction and different musical disciplines. Musical instruments are provided to beginning students.
