Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Happy New Year members and friends! What an amazing fireworks display to usher in the New Year here in Puerto Vallarta. Now the Puerto Vallarta International Friendship Club (IFC) would like to kickoff our annual 50/50 raffle fundraiser with a BANG!
The IFC annual 50/50 charity fundraiser is the largest revenue generator for our organization second only to our signature Home Tours for Charity.
Everyone is invited to extend a helping hand in international friendship by buying a 50/50 donation raffle ticket (or two!), to benefit community service providers that the IFC has already vetted, which include, but not limited to, the following:
- Pasitos de Luz
- Vallarta Abuelos
- Aid to Families of Children with Cancer
- R.I.S.E. – Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza
Last year’s raffle grossed $13,4000 pesos of which $88,775 pesos were distributed in support of our charitable causes. The three raffle winners split $67,000 pesos in prize money, a large amount of which was donated back to the IFC in support of our charities.
The IFC 50/50 raffle will remain the same as in previous years. Ticket prices are:
1 ticket – $500 pesos / about $30 USD or $39 CAD
5 tickets – $2000 pesos / about $120 USD or $155 CAD
13 tickets – $4000 pesos / about $240 USD or $310 CAD
50% of total ticket sales will be distributed to the IFC and 50% of total ticket sales will be distributed to three lucky winners.
1st Prize – 25 % of the total
2nd Prize – 15 % of the total
3rd Prize – 10 % of the total
Raffle tickets are on sale now via the IFC’s website. Winners will be announced on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
You don’t have to be a member of the IFC to participate in the International Friendship Day raffle. You just need to know that you will be supporting the Puerto Vallarta children and families that need it most in these trying times. Click HERE to see the full list of charities that the IFC serves.
