Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Kimberly La Rue’s On Broadway opened Monday at The Palm Cabaret to a very appreciative audience. We heard many Broadway Hit Songs performed by some of the best voices in Puerto Vallarta. There were fabulous costumes, professional dance and top-notch singing – all performed to perfection!
Starring vocalists for this production are Hal Bonta, Cate Elizabeth Valcic, E Andrew Sands and Rana Kangas-Kent. Every vocal was breathtaking and spectacular and Kimberly’s very talented Follies Vallarta Dancers, Sabrina Islas, David Díaz, Nana Luna, Ulises Perez Torres and Carlos Camargo were a nice complement to the show.
Kimberly La Rue is one of the most accomplished directors/producers in the Vallarta Cabaret Scene, drawing from a rich background in music, dance and theater. She has a master’s from Columbia University in the Arts and a resume filled with successful accomplishments in her field. She is the creator, director, producer and choreographer of Follies Vallarta, the founder and Artistic Director at Bridge for Dance in New York, and a faculty member at The Ailey School in NY.
On Broadway features tunes from Cabaret, Chicago Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Gypsy, Funny Girl, Kinky Boots and more! You’ll hear fabulous renditions of “Reciprocity,” “Music of the Night,” “I’m Everybody’s Girl,” “Razzle Dazzle,” “Winner Takes It All” and so many more!
