San Pancho, Nayarit, Mexico – Entreamigos began in 2006 on a kitchen table in the middle of a San Pancho street. Today, housed in a giant warehouse recognized as a model sustainable facility, it is an active community center with classes and workshops, a scholarship program, a bilingual library for children and adults, a computer center, an extensive recycling program, a gift store and the Recicla thrift shop.

Día de los Niños
On April 29th we had the wonderful opportunity to celebrate Día de los Niños with the children in the Plaza del Sol. The joy and excitement shared during this event truly highlighted the spirit of togetherness that we strive to foster. It was a day filled with laughter, games, and beautiful face paintings as we came together to celebrate the children in our community.
Dia de los Niños is not just about fun and games; it’s also a time to celebrate the importance of children in our community. It was heartwarming to see families and neighbors coming together to create lasting memories. As we reflect on this special day, let us continue to nurture and support the children in our lives, ensuring they have the love, care, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Literary Week is Coming!
June 3-7 we will be celebrating Literary Week with our theme: Words are Alive In Wonderland!
Children will be immersed in a wonderland of words where imagination knows no bounds, and creativity flourishes. Join us in celebrating the magic of storytelling and the beauty of language during this extraordinary literary week filled with workshops, campfire stories, scavenger hunts, adult poetry night, and so much more!
Grupo Selva Outing
Grupo Selva went out for a very fun trip to the “lo de Perla” Orchid Garden where they learned a lot about 150 year old trees, as well as the jaguar habitat. They entered the jungle and saw examples of many different types of orchids. They also enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared for everyone and at the end of the walk, they arrived at a viewpoint to admire the wonder that is the Pacific. We would like to thank Perla and Jose for welcoming Grupo Selva so warmly. It was an unforgettable day!
English Classes in Full Swing
The English classes at Entreamigos have been a place of learning and growth for individuals seeking to enhance their language skills. The dedicated instructors have been providing a supportive learning environment, so our students have been able to improve their English proficiency and gain confidence in their communication abilities. Located at Av. Tercer Mundo No. 12 in San Francisco, Nayarit, Mexico, Entreamigos is an active community center whose primary focus is to increase educational opportunities for the children of San Pancho. To achieve these goals Entreamigos runs an art collective non-profit store, a library, a computer center and a collection of educational and community based workshops and initiatives.
