Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Mamma Mia! is a jukebox musical written by British playwright Catherine Johnson based on songs recorded by Swedish group ABBA and composed by members Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus. The musical’s title is taken from the group’s 1975 chart-topper “Mamma Mia”, and includes the characters: Donna Sheridan, Sophie, Sam Carmichael, Rosie Mulligan, Bill Anderson, Harry Bright, Tanya and Sky along with a supporting cast of Sophie’s friends.

Donna (Sophie’s Mom) and her friends reprise their old singing group, “Donna and the Dynamo’s,” for this twisted wedding tale. The potential fathers join in for some great drama and musical fun. And Sophie’s fun-loving friends are part of this song and dance extravaganza as you enjoy a fantastic night of musical theater!
