McAllen Texas Puerto Vallarta Flights

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – More excellent news adds to the optimism that Puerto Vallarta will have a great summer season. As of June 10, this beach destination adds a new air connection, this time from McAllen, Texas, with an Aeromar airline flight that will be available three days a week.

In the border city, the director of aviation in McAllen, Texas, Elizabeth Suarez, announced the two new flights that will be offered from that point to Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta.

Three flights from McAllen to Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara will open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays; return flights are on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from both cities in Jalisco to McAllen.

In this regard, the acting director of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Promotion and Advertising Trust, Luis Villasenor commented that this is a magnificent opportunity to attract tourists from an important metropolitan border area, which allows it to attract both Texans and residents of Reynosa, who usually have a strong purchasing power due to the large number of industries that are established in that region.

Located in Hidalgo County, Texas, the city of McAllen borders Reynosa, Tamaulipas, and has a population of 140,000. There are numerous multinational companies in that region, which boosts its economy, as well as the thousands of Mexicans who each year go shopping or arrive at the ‘McAllen-Miller’ airport.

It is appropriate to mention that the Reynosa-McAllen metropolitan area, with a population of 1,647,351 inhabitants, is the third most populated transnational metropolitan area between the border of the United States and Mexico, after Ciudad Juarez and Tijuana; likewise, the Reynosa-Río Bravo metropolitan area is the twenty-third most populous city in the country.

“Puerto Vallarta is a highly desired destination by Texans, and this new Aeromar frequency will allow us to reach the inhabitants of the south of the state, who are also looking for beach options in Mexico, now we can offer you the most Mexican beach destination with multiple natural attractions, outdoor activities, jungle and ocean tours, succulent gastronomy, nightlife, and compliance with preventive biosafety protocols,” said the director of the Trust.

In addition to this, the flight opens the opportunity for the inhabitants of Puerto Vallarta and the Banderas Bay region to visit the border city, famous for its shopping centers, outlets and businesses in general, in a shopping weekend with access to the attractions of an American city with Tex-Mex flair.
