At President Lopez Obrador’s morning press conference on Tuesday, the Undersecretary of Prevention and Health Promotion, Hugo Lopez-Gatell Ramirez, announced that pre-registration for everyone over 18 is now available via the mivacuna.salud.gob.mx platform.

Lopez-Gatell explained that the pre-registration process will help the government plan the distribution and application of doses throughout the country. “…as the vaccines arrive, they are immediately distributed and applied,” he said.

On July 5th, another 421,785 doses were administered, bringing the total number of full or partially vaccinated people in Mexico to 47,739,783.
