For 17 years, the band has delivered heartfelt, guitar-driven blues every Friday during high season. The tradition continues upstairs in Nacho Daddy’s air-conditioned theater, where live music begins at 8:30 pm. Admission is free, and guests often arrive early to secure a seat for the beloved weekly show.
On Saturdays at 7:30 pm, audiences can enjoy She. He. Him!, a lively musical evening starring powerhouse vocalist Amy Armstrong, the wildly entertaining Sargento Dan, and award-winning music director Mark Hartman. The show brings together two dynamic performers from different generations as they share stories, swap songs, and perform favorites from Broadway, classic standards, and pop hits. Their natural chemistry and humor create an engaging night of live entertainment.
The stage belongs to Sargento Dan again on Sunday, March 15 at 7:00 pm with The Men-Ti-Ras Experience, a one-man parody inspired by the famous Mexican musical Mentiras: El Musical. In this fast-paced performance, Dan portrays four unforgettable female characters while delivering dramatic moments, energetic music, and plenty of laughter. The show blends over-the-top telenovela flair with a soundtrack of catchy 1980s hits, creating a night of playful, high-energy fun.
Community spirit will take center stage on Tuesday, March 17 at 7:30 pm during Come Blow Your Horn, the venue’s popular open mic night hosted by Nick Gabor and Gouda Gabor. This week’s event will spotlight 12-year-old Puerto Vallarta singing sensation Angelo Rodriguez, winner of both So You Think You Can Rise and La Voz Zapopan. Angelo has been invited to audition for America’s Got Talent, and donations collected during the evening will help support his travel to Los Angeles. The weekly open mic is known for showcasing some of the city’s finest musicians and often turns into one of the most memorable nights of live entertainment in town.
Midweek fun continues on Wednesdays at 4:00 pm with Charity Bingo, where guests can win prizes while supporting local organizations such as the Colina Spay and Neuter Clinic and the PuRR Project. The event combines lighthearted competition with meaningful community support.
On Thursday, March 19 at 5:00 pm, guitarist and vocalist Paul Lions will headline a special Tribute to Eric Clapton. Backed by a seasoned band, Lions recreates the tone, feel, and emotion of Clapton’s legendary catalog, from blues-driven classics to soulful ballads and rock anthems. Fans can expect an evening of soaring guitar solos and timeless songs performed live in an energetic setting.
The following Friday, March 20, The Texas Embassy Blues Band returns once again, bringing its signature mix of blues and classic soul, including tributes to icons like Ray Charles, Al Green, and Joe Cocker.
Beyond its live shows, Nacho Daddy is also a favorite gathering place for sports fans. Multiple high-definition screens broadcast major games from leagues such as the National Hockey League, National Basketball Association, and NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, giving guests a comfortable spot to enjoy great food and cold drinks while following the action.
