Led by Mayor Luis Munguía, the inauguration ceremony celebrated the dedication of the local lifeguards and the enhanced capabilities this new tower brings to their important work. Positioned for optimal visibility, the tower will serve as a crucial operations center for rescue teams, significantly improving response times in emergency situations. Adding to this positive development, Mayor Munguía announced the upcoming arrival of essential equipment for the lifeguard unit stationed at the new tower. This includes a panga, jet skis, and a versatile all-terrain vehicle, further empowering the rescue personnel to effectively address a range of potential incidents.
Misael López Muro, the Director of Civil Protection and Firefighters, emphasized the significance of this latest installation as part of a broader initiative to elevate beach safety across Puerto Vallarta. He noted that the Holi Beach tower joins existing operational towers at Playa Camarones, Flamingos, and Olas Altas, bringing the total to four out of the twelve planned.
