MAY 18 UPDATE: The Vallarta Food Bank Fundraiser has been rescheduled to Wednesday, June 30, but Jose Alfredo’s birthday bash WILL take place on Wednesday, May 19 with great food & friends, live music & birthday cake!
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The biggest fiesta of the year at No Way Jose! remains Jose Alfredo’s cumpleanos on May 19. That date heralds not only one of the best fiestas of the year, it also provides the biggest charitable event.
No Way Jose! has had the great fortune of supporting some of Puerto Vallarta’s most helpful organizations throughout the years to further the goal of providing for communities in need.
The team at No Way Jose! could not be more grateful than to be able to gather family and friends this year in support of the Vallarta Food Bank. The Vallarta Food Bank dedicates its efforts to fighting hunger in Puerto Vallarta. Born from the urgent needs arising from the COVID pandemic in 2020, the Vallarta Food Bank continues its fight against hunger and needs all of us to join them in that fight. We cannot say it better than a recent donor to the Vallarta Food Bank, who shared:
“So many who visit or live in Vallarta think of it as “paradise.” [However], it’s not paradise for those who are hungry. If you’ve been able to afford to visit Vallarta and take advantage of all it has to offer, please find a way to give back here.”
“We have so many friends who come and tell us they’ve spent an amazing evening with us at No Way Jose!” says Jose Alfredo. “We look for ways to grow that energy into something tangible for the whole community. Since we continue to observe a 50% seating capacity, I hope the response is so great that we have to do this party on two nights!”
Volunteer sign-ups will be available also this evening, so come prepared to sign up and volunteer whatever time you can. What better way to celebrate another year around the sun for Jose Alfredo than to join the party and be a Hunger Hero for the Vallarta Food Bank.

No Way Jose! continues to observe 50% capacity on the Terrace, so please reserve early. All COVID precautions remain in place.
Ticket: $2500 pesos includes a special 3-course menu, welcome cocktail and live musical entertainment. After operating costs, 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Vallarta Food Bank.
