Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – Don’t miss the opening reception of Angeline Kyba’s newest art works on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 6:00-9:00 pm. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy art, tapas, wine and a fiesta at Casa Brava, the artist’s home studio, in downtown Puerto Vallarta.
One of Mexico’s fine figurative painters, Kyba offers portraits and paintings in oil, large and small. She paints her neighbors, animals, creatures and all things organic and living. Kyba paints what she see and what she feels. Angeline’s work expresses her experiences of living in Mexico since the 1980s, and she’s famous for her paintings of everyday life in the Gringo Gulch neighborhood.
Always a seeker of a people, a place and a home, Angie found in México a people who embraced her, a place to paint and a home.
