Puerto Vallarta Boosts Emergency Services with Major Investment

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Puerto Vallarta is working to improve public safety with a substantial investment in its fire department and civil protection unit. A ceremony later this month will celebrate the arrival of new equipment, vehicles, uniforms, and tools totaling 7 million pesos.

Misael López, head of the combined fire and civil protection department, recently shared the exciting news with local media.

“Of the total investment”, he said, 4 million pesos will fund the purchase of three fully equipped trucks. These vehicles will be instrumental in enhancing the department’s ability to respond quickly and effectively to fires, accidents, and other emergencies. The remaining funds will provide additional essential resources, further strengthening the team’s capabilities.”

This significant investment reflects Puerto Vallarta’s dedication to the safety and well-being of its residents and visitors. The new equipment and vehicles will allow first responders to better handle the challenges of a growing city and bustling tourist destination. Faster response times and improved equipment mean greater protection for residents and visitors.

Director López invited the media to attend the upcoming ceremony at the department’s facilities. This investment underscores the city’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of everyone in Puerto Vallarta.
