Puerto Vallarta Garden Club Needs Plant & Trim Volunteers

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The PV Garden Club supports not only a more beautiful, clean and verdant city, but is also making it more attractive to tourism, thus creating a vibrant economy to support all the other great causes in Puerto Vallarta. Please join them on Thursday, March 10 for gardening on the corner of Miramar and Aldama.

Dear Members and Friends,

Please meet us on Thursday, March 10 at 9:00 am on the corner of Miramar (street La Capella is on) and Aldama. If coming from Old Town you will see the OPC on the Aldama corner where your turn/walk up a few blocks to Miramar.

Miramar dead ends into Aldama and turns into a stairway walking street for a historic area where old Hollywood used to stay. The City asked us to replant a long abandoned group of planters – and we agreed on the condition that they provided water and finished the stairs.

You will be amazed at what can be put together for very little money when Club members and friends contribute plants and labor!

On Thursday, we will trim the beds and add lots of ground cover and color. Most of the beds are raised… so no working on your knees!

Wear your mask (optional) and gloves, and bring a hand trowel and clippers. If you don’t have tools, the Garden Club will supply them.
