Puerto Vallarta is ready to welcome hundreds of athletes from across Mexico to the exciting One Round National Martial Arts Tournament. Set to take place on Saturday, March 15, at La Lija Cultural and Sports Center, this competition promises a day of thrilling athleticism and family fun.
The Municipal Sports Council (COMUDE) of Puerto Vallarta, working alongside local martial arts academies, has organized this unique event. Participants of all ages, beginning with those as young as six, will showcase their skills in Muay Thai, Kick Boxing, Tae Kwon Do, Boxing, and Karate Do. Whether a seasoned competitor or just starting out, athletes will find a place to shine.
To ensure a level playing field, all bouts will adhere to the World Kickboxing Council (WKC) rules. This commitment to fair play will create an environment where every participant can demonstrate their best techniques. Exceptional prizes await the winners, including coveted championship belts. All participants will receive commemorative medals, recognizing their dedication and hard work.
Those interested in testing their abilities can register until March 8, 2025, or until the 500-competitor limit is reached. The registration fee is $800 MXN per person. Beyond the competition, this event carries a strong community spirit.
