MiMi Bomba Wonders if AI Will Be Humanity’s Downfall

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – MiMi Bomba has been seeing online warnings that Artificial Intelligence will wipe out humanity within the next ten years. She begs to differ. Not because she thinks humanity has plenty of time left, but because, in her opinion, AI is already making life miserable enough to bring on the apocalypse ahead of schedule.

I keep seeing these pop-ups online that Artificial Intelligence going to kill all human beings within ten years. Well, I beg to disagree.

It is not going to take nearly that long.

Artificial Intelligence, AI, – or whatever you want to call it – is already wearing me down. It is making my messages disappear for no reason and without my permission. (I am no longer blaming gremlins.)

It is inventing stories which I take my time to fact check and verify, which inevitably end up to be – pardon me – caca del toro.

It shows celebrities speaking who are not really speaking.

How are they getting away with that?

Well, I will tell you how. In my never to be humble opinion, it is because there is so much of it that it’s impossible to follow. And this is where my column takes a turn – just like all the lies that we hear and see repeated over and over and over until another horrible story comes out to take attention away from those lies and give us some more lies, if you can’t dazzle ’em with brilliance, baffle ’em with bullshit.

I’m not saying that Artificial Intelligence started the war in Iran because I think that was the lack of Intelligence and the presence of Artificial excuses. Make of that what you will.

So will humanity be gone in ten years? I think humanity is already gone as far as my native country goes. Will the human race be gone in ten years? Maybe.

Does it deserve to be gone in ten years? Probably. I’m just sorry that it will take my family and friends along with a lot of other good people.

I will likely not be around to see it and that’s okay with me. I have seen enough.

¡Hasta luego! ¡Ojala!
