Puerto Vallarta Hosts 2025 Mexican Beach Volleyball Championship

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Sand, sun, and sports passion collide as Puerto Vallarta becomes the national stage for the 2025 Mexican Beach Volleyball Championship. Scheduled to take place from May 30 to June 1, this national sporting event will convene top volleyball teams from across Mexico for a weekend of high-level competition and beachside excitement.

The fifth edition of the championship will unfold on the sands of popular Holi Beach, located in Puerto Vallarta’s northern Hotel Zone. In addition to Mexican teams representing various states, Canadian players Abe Salmon and Adam Einarson are also slated to participate.

The tournament will feature competition across several categories, including Professional, Youth 2006-2007, Youth 2008-2009, and Open divisions for both male and female athletes. A total prize of $150,000 pesos will be distributed among the winners of these categories.

The Mexican Volleyball Federation, working in conjunction with local and state sports bodies, is organizing the championship, which will feature prominent teams from the national circuit. Over two days, athletes will compete for the national title, earning ranking points that can contribute to opportunities in international competitions.

The tournament’s prize structure is intended to motivate both experienced players and promising young talents within Mexican volleyball. The event receives support from the Vallarta Municipal Sports Council (COMUDE), the Government of Jalisco, the FMVB, and numerous sponsors, reinforcing Puerto Vallarta’s role as a significant location for beach sporting events.

The public is invited to attend this exciting competition without charge. Spectators are reminded to bring sun protection and stay hydrated while supporting the teams. Attendees can anticipate an engaging weekend of competitive beach volleyball.
