
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Earlier this month, we reported on the upcoming Mexican Beach Volleyball Championship. Now, additional information has been released, so here’s an update:
From May 30 to June 1, Puerto Vallarta’s Holi Beach will become the heart of Mexico’s beach volleyball scene as it hosts the 2025 Mexican Beach Volleyball Championship. The highly anticipated event will welcome 110 teams from 16 states, along with special guests from Canada, Colombia, and Russia, competing across professional and youth categories.

The competition will kick off at 9:00 am on Friday, May 30, with finals scheduled for Sunday, June 1, at 3:00 pm (women’s professional) and 4:00 pm (men’s professional). Youth categories for U-17 and U-19 will also be featured, offering a great opportunity for rising stars.
A qualifying round will take place on Saturday, May 31, from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, where 70 teams will compete for four coveted spots in the main tournament. With six courts set up, including a main court with seating for approximately 1,000 spectators, the Beach Volleyball Championship promises to be a thrilling experience. Admission is free, allowing locals and visitors to enjoy the action without cost.
Promotora Larx director, Laura Almaral Palafox, pointed out that Puerto Vallarta has been Mexico’s top venue for beach volleyball for over 30 years. She noted the national championship’s role in developing young athletes and supporting their journey to competitions like the Olympics.
The tournament is endorsed by the Mexican Volleyball Federation and the Jalisco Volleyball Association. Michelle Fridman, Jalisco’s Secretary of Tourism, attended the announcement and praised the event for its positive impact on tourism, the economy, and community engagement.
With 150,000 pesos in prize money up for grabs and top-tier talent on display, the 2025 Puerto Vallarta Beach Volleyball Championship promises three exciting days of high-level sport in a stunning coastal setting.
