Puerto Vallarta Welcomes First Direct Flight from Prague Oct 29

Puerto Vallarta is set to welcome its first direct charter flight from Prague on October 29, 2024, marking a major milestone for tourism in State of Jalisco and the greater Banderas Bay region. Operated by World2Fly in partnership with German travel company DER Touristik, the flight is scheduled to land at 4:45 p.m., linking Central Europe with the stunning landscapes and warm hospitality of Mexico’s Pacific coast.

This new flight route, in operation for six months, represents a significant achievement, coming after months of negotiations that began in January and concluded in April. Using an Airbus A350 with a capacity of 432 passengers, the service is expected to bring over 10,000 European tourists to the region during the fall-winter season. Beyond Czech travelers, the route is designed to attract visitors from neighboring countries, including Germany, Austria, and Poland.

Puerto Vallarta offers European tourists an accessible gateway to its breathtaking beaches, cultural heritage, and acclaimed cuisine. With the introduction of this direct flight, travelers from Prague, Brno, Ostrava, and beyond can now experience Jalisco’s diverse attractions with ease.

Vanessa Pérez Lamas, head of the Jalisco Tourism Secretariat, noted that this connection provides a fresh avenue for Puerto Vallarta to tap into European tourism markets, reinforcing the city’s appeal as a prime international destination. Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP), alongside local authorities, has emphasized that this addition helps broaden the region’s appeal, securing its place as a top choice for global travelers seeking the unique blend of beauty, adventure, and relaxation found only in Mexico.
