Puerto Vallarta International Airport is gearing up for a bustling winter season with the addition of 10 new weekly flights, offering a total of over 7,000 outbound seats across various new routes. This influx of flights represents a significant boost to the region’s tourism industry.
The first of these new routes, a weekly flight from Prague, Czech Republic, will commence on October 22. Operated by World2fly, this flight will provide an average of 1,728 seats per month, utilizing the spacious Airbus 350 aircraft.
In December, Sunwing Airlines will introduce a weekly flight from Victoria, Canada to Puerto Vallarta, offering an average of 736 outbound seats per month.
The new year will bring even more options. Starting in January 2025, Alaska Airlines will launch direct flights from four new U.S. cities, adding an impressive 1,200 seats per week to this popular destination through April.
The schedule for these new flights is as follows: Alaska Airlines will offer four weekly flights from New York to Puerto Vallarta from January 8 to April 20. Additionally, the airline will provide weekly flights from Sacramento from January 11 to April 19, and from Kansas City and St. Louis from January 18 to April 5.
Finally, Southwest Airlines will join the mix on March 8 with a weekly flight from Sacramento. Flights for this new route are available for booking through April 7, 2025, perfectly timed for spring break.
These new flights are a testament to Puerto Vallarta’s growing popularity as a tourist destination and will undoubtedly contribute to the region’s economic prosperity.
