Puerto Vallarta Will Welcome 22 Cruise Ships in March

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – Puerto Vallarta will welcome 22 cruise ships in March, according to the API’s (Integral Port Administration) arrival calendar. This is in addition to the Mexican Navy ship Buque Zapoteco MI, which will berth in our port March 13-15, and the Attessa V super yacht March 1-16.

Of the 22 scheduled arrivals this month, there will be nine double arrivals, as well as four arrivals from two different cruise ships – the Carnival Panorama and the Norwegian Bliss.

The first double arrival of the month will happen on Wednesday, March 1, with the Discovery Princess and the Disney Wonder calling on our city.

The second week of the month will start with another double arrival, with the Royal Princess and the Navigator of the Seas arriving on March 6. This will be followed by the Carnival Panorama on the 7th, and two more double arrivals – The Discovery Princess and the Celebrity Solstice on the 8th and, on the 9th, the Norwegian Bliss and the MS Amera, the second of which will depart at 8 pm on the 10th.

The third week of March will begin with the arrival of the Mexican Naval ship Buque Zapoteco MI, which will berth in our port March 13-15, Wednesday, March 15 will see another double arrival, with the Norwegian Bliss and Zaandam docking in our port.

The fourth week of the month will see two more double arrivals – the Carnival Panorama and the Zaandam on the 21st, and the Norwegian Bliss and Discovery Princess on the 22nd.

This month’s arrivals will wrap up with the arrival of the Carnival Panorama on Wednesday the 28th, followed by March’s last double arrival – the Norwegian Bliss and the Emerald Princess – on the 29th, followed by the Norwegian Jewel on the 30th and the Zaandam on the 31st.

The Administration of the National Port System (ASIPONA) has announced that at least 200 cruise ships will arrive at the Puerto Vallarta maritime terminal this year, bringing an estimated 350,000 passengers, and around $42 million dollars to the city.
