Puerto Vallarta’s Culinary Scene Takes Center Stage November 7-17

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The 29th edition of the Festival Gourmet International is set to bring an unforgettable culinary experience to Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, and Tepic from November 7-17, 2024. This prestigious event, which has been celebrating food and wine for nearly three decades, promises ten days of extraordinary dining and unique experiences.

With 24 participating restaurants and over 50 chefs, half of whom are guest chefs from Mexico and abroad, the festival will offer visitors a chance to enjoy exclusive menus crafted by both local and international culinary stars. Among the many highlights is the presence of Elena Reygadas, recently named the best female chef in the world by The World’s 50 Best.

This year’s festival will include 13 special events, such as two gourmet safaris, intimate chef’s tables, a gastronomic conference for students, and a unique collaboration between chefs Reygadas and Thierry Blouet, the Festival Gourmet’s founder and organizer. Additionally, the much-anticipated Pink Dinner will celebrate and support the LGBT community.

The festival will kick off for the fourth consecutive year at the beautiful Tierra Luna Gardens, where a grand opening event, inspired by the glamour of the 1920s, will feature stands from all 24 restaurants and a spectacular fireworks display.

With its rich culinary heritage, Puerto Vallarta has long been a food lover’s paradise. From fresh seafood to mountain-sourced ingredients, the region offers over 30 diverse cuisines for visitors to explore, making it a top destination for gourmet travelers.
