Get ready for a burst of flavors and excitement as Puerto Vallarta hosts its first-ever Micheladas Festival on February 3rd and 4th at Hidalgo Park’s Esplanade in Downtown. This two-day event will offer a perfect blend of music, laughter, and, of course, tasty Micheladas.
Over 30 exhibitors will be showcasing their unique twists on Micheladas, the popular beer-based cocktail known for its mix of lime, hot sauce, Worcestershire, and tomato juice. Local and regional food options will also be available to complement the diverse beverage offerings.
The festival, kicking off at noon each day, is not just about drinks; it’s a celebration of flavors and lasting memories. Attendees can explore a variety of botanera Micheladas, promising a sensory adventure for their taste buds.
Musical enthusiasts will be treated to a live performance by Plastiko, a well-known funk, ska, and reggae band from Mexico. Throughout the festival, other musical artists will take the stage, ensuring continuous entertainment. Exciting contests, including the sought-after Best Michelada Award, offer a chance to win great prizes.
Surprise gifts, delicious treats such as pizzas, churros, and cannabis-infused sandwiches and snacks from Busher Cocdril’s, along with stalls featuring local arts and crafts, will add to the festive atmosphere.
Entrance to the festival is free, but it’s exclusively for individuals aged 18 and above. With its promise of a weekend filled with flavor, fun, and memorable moments, the PVR Festival de Micheladas is set to become a highlight on Puerto Vallarta’s cultural calendar.
