PV T Dance Helps Residents in Need Through Community Event Series

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, México – PV T Dance, in partnership with Vallarta Cares, continues to show how community gatherings can make a meaningful difference. Proceeds from a single event recently provided enough support to help feed more than 100 residents in need across Puerto Vallarta, strengthening local food assistance efforts and supporting essential services.

Funds raised at the PV T Dance were directed to Vallarta Cares programs that provide meals, medical support, and other critical resources to individuals and families facing hardship. Organizers say the results highlight how community participation can translate into real support for those who need it most.

“At Vallarta Cares, every peso we receive is turned into something tangible, whether that’s meals, medical services, or dignity for those we serve,” said Frankie Victoria, Founder and President of Vallarta Cares. “Knowing that a single T Dance helped provide more than 100 meals is incredibly meaningful. It shows that when people come together to enjoy music and connection, the impact can reach far beyond the event itself.”

PV T Dance Non-Profit Coordinator Lorraine Howes shared similar enthusiasm about the results. “When we learned that donations from just one event helped feed 100 people, it was truly inspiring,” she said. “It shows how much can be accomplished when participants come together to support local charities while enjoying a fun and welcoming experience.”

Organizers hope to build on this success by increasing participation and expanding the program’s impact. Future events aim to provide even more meals and continue strengthening support for Vallarta’s community programs.

PV T Dance is held every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at The Top Sky Bar at Almar Resort. Produced by GW Productions in collaboration with Almar Resort, the twice-weekly tea dance offers a relaxed afternoon gathering focused on music, social connection, and charitable giving.

Inspired by traditional tea dances of past decades and adapted for Puerto Vallarta’s inclusive community, PV T Dance welcomes locals and visitors of all ages and backgrounds. The event creates a friendly setting where guests can meet new people, enjoy music from multiple decades, and take in scenic sunset views.

What sets PV T Dance apart is its strong focus on supporting local organizations. Each gathering benefits a rotating selection of charities, raising both funds and awareness for programs that serve residents throughout the region.

“This is about building connections and supporting our community,” said event hostess and co-producer ‘Queen’ Marissa Eugenia. “Bringing people together while supporting important causes shows how much can be accomplished when we work as a team. Seeing one event help feed more than 100 residents demonstrates the positive impact we can create together.”

PV T Dance is quickly becoming a popular midweek option for those looking for an early evening social event. By offering a welcoming alternative to late-night entertainment, organizers hope to create a lasting tradition that blends enjoyment with community support.

Founder Sean Kearns noted that the afternoon timeframe fills a need for social activities earlier in the day. Inspired by similar gatherings in destinations such as Provincetown, Palm Springs, and Fire Island, the concept offers a chance to relax, connect, and contribute to local causes.

Organizers at Almar Resort also see the event as an opportunity to strengthen community engagement. “We’re proud to work with GW Productions to host PV T Dance at The Top Sky Bar,” said Gabriel Iturbide, co-producer and food and beverage manager at Almar Resort. “We look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy music, beautiful views, and a positive atmosphere while supporting meaningful community programs.”
