Our fundraising projects are all in support of R.I.S.E., a 50-bed refuge for children in Puerto Vallarta. R.I.S.E provides a loving environment for children who are “at risk” at home or have no home. These resilient children range in age from newborn to mid-teens.
For 19 years R.I.S.E has been able to provide programs to these children that include, but are not limited to, education, computer labs, arts and crafts, games and sporting activities. These fundraising events allow us to provide nutritional meals and look after the shelter’s day-to-day operations.
It’s volunteers and generous people like you that make events like this happen and make R.I.S.E a home for the kids. We look forward to spending an evening with you on February 16 at the International Food Festival Fundraising dinner or an afternoon on February 24 at the luncheon and fashion show – or why not both?
The Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza is a non-profit shelter for babies and children under the age of 14.
