Puerto Vallarta, México – Residents of Puerto Vallarta have additional time to take advantage of savings on their water service. SEAPAL Vallarta has extended the deadline for its 2026 Annual Prepayment program through March 31, giving more families the opportunity to receive a 10% discount on their estimated yearly water consumption.
The extension was approved during a recent meeting of the agency’s Board of Directors, chaired by Mayor Luis Munguía. Officials said the decision was made to make the program more accessible following circumstances that arose during February.
According to SEAPAL Vallarta Director Carlos Alberto Ruiz, the additional time will allow more residential customers to participate and benefit from the savings offered through the program. The discount applies to residential service contracts and is based on estimated water consumption for the entire 2026 year.
Program requirements remain unchanged. Customers must be current on their payments and present their receipt or contract number to complete the annual prepayment process.
SEAPAL officials say the extension reflects the agency’s ongoing commitment to supporting the financial well-being of families while encouraging timely payments and responsible water use.
Residents interested in participating can visit SEAPAL Vallarta customer service offices Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Service modules are located at the main offices at the intersection of Francisco Villa and Manuel Ávila Camacho avenues, the Pitillal branch on Avenida Prisciliano Sánchez No. 400, and the Ixtapa branch at Calle México No. 164.
