Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Are you ready for a great night of entertainment? The Grand Finale of ‘So, You Think You Can RISE,’ Puerto Vallarta’s First Annual Variety Talent Show, is set to take place at 7:30 pm on Sunday, February 20 at Teatro Vallarta. ‘So, You Think You Can RISE’ is a series of 6 Talent Shows, modeled after America’s Got Talent. The contest consisted of 5 Preliminary Rounds at The Palm Cabaret, with the winner of each Round advancing to the Grand Finale at Teatro Vallarta.
At the final preliminary round, two acts, contemporary dance group ‘Fusion 91’ and the singer known as ‘Enoch,’ were chosen to advance to the Grande Finale. This brought the number of contestants scheduled to compete at Teatro Vallarta to six… until the Judges used their ‘Golden Buzzer’ to allow ‘Alkoliti Flow,’ the Hip Hop Dance Group from Round 1, to compete in the final competition.
This brings the total number of acts competing in the Grand Finale to 7. They are:
• Fusion 91 – Dance performance group (Round 5)
• Enoch – Spanish solo singer with piano accompaniment (Round 5)
• Eyes on Earth – Soulful Music Group (Round 4)
• The Ultimate Dance Company – 5-person dance group (Round 3)
• Tay – A 19-year-old singer (Round 2)
• Jo Reyes – a 25 year old pop singer (Round 1)
• Alkoliti Flow – Hip Hop Dance Group (Round 1 ‘Golden Buzzer’)
These 7 contestants will battle it out for $10,000 Peso Grand Prize, and your vote will help determine the winner!

The Grand Finale will be hosted by Roy Gomez – Puerto Vallarta’s Freddie Mercury – and feature guest performances by Judges Kim Kuzma, Gouda Gabor, and a few other surprise artists.
Rounding out the team of Judges is Paco Ojeda – music educator and producer and host of ‘Coffee and Headlines’. These judges will narrow down the selection and the audience will vote for the final winner!
