Street Bazaar Benefits RISE Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – R.I.S.E. is on the RISE – come out to our first Bazaar and support the children at Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza. The Bazaar will be held on the street, across from ‘Tony’s Please’ restaurant on Lazaro Cardenas, this Saturday and Sunday, January 18th & 19th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

We will be selling SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE at ROCK BOTTOM PRICES. Kitchen appliances, clothing, building materials, lighting, window coverings, lamps, molcajetes, toys, and MORE! Proceeds will support R.I.S.E. operations.

R.I.S.E. is on the RISE because we have new leadership helping make a difference to the 30+ children housed at the shelter, which provides children who are either homeless or at risk in their own home with a secure, clean and loving environment.

These kids, ranging from newborns to mid-teens, receive an education, healthy meals, medical, vision & dental services, psychological help and speech and hearing assistance, if needed. A salaried staff assists with the care of the children at the shelter, which presently has the capacity for 50 children.

Come see for yourself how RISE has created a beautiful new family for these children. They love each other, laugh, sing, play and have fun together. It’s a wonderful thing to see. The shelter is located at Ricardo Flores Magón #251 in Colonia Benito Juárez, and visiting hours are on Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm. There is no need to call ahead – just stop by for a visit! If you are interested in attending mass with the children, they attend the 9:30 service at the church next door.

If you are not in Puerto Vallarta, please visit our website at RisePV.com to learn more, make donations, and see our ‘weekly wish list.’ Want to be part of the family? Volunteers are always needed. Contact me at Lisa(at)risepv.com for more information.

The Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza is a non-profit shelter for babies and children under the age of 14. Some of these children are orphans but most come from unbearable situations having been abused, neglected, or simply abandoned. R.I.S.E. is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, EIN (52)2442583. All contributions are tax deductible. More information about the shelter and how you can help these unfortunate kids can be found on their website: RisePV.com.
