About PuRR Project

PuRR Project is a non-profit, no-kill feline shelter located just north of Puerto Vallarta. Since its founding in 2006, the shelter has provided a safe haven for homeless cats and kittens, offering medical care, sterilization, and ultimately placing them in loving homes. The shelter’s half-acre sanctuary allows adult cats to roam freely, while kittens grow in a protected nursery. Special areas like Simona’s Senior Center and Macho’s House ensure older or special-needs felines get the care they deserve.
With a permanent population of over 200 felines, PuRR Project relies on fundraisers like this garage sale to continue its lifesaving work. The shelter also operates an on-site clinic, an acclimation bungalow, and a quarantine space for new arrivals. In 2012, the incorporation of PuRR Project USA helped boost donations, furthering the shelter’s mission.
Whether you’re treasure-hunting or simply want to help, this garage sale is a fantastic way to support Puerto Vallarta’s rescued cats. Stop by, find a great deal, and make a difference – one purchase at a time!
