Puerto Vallarta, México – The Best Taco in the Bay brings taco lovers together for an evening that celebrates great food, community, and a meaningful cause. On January 28, 2026, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, guests will gather at Patio Los Arcos inside the Raintree Club Regina in Marina Vallarta to taste, vote, and help crown the top taco in the bay.
The event offers a flavorful way to explore Puerto Vallarta’s diverse taco scene, highlighting both classic favorites and creative new tastes prepared by talented local vendors. Guests will have the opportunity to sample a wide range of tacos while enjoying a relaxed, beachside setting designed for friends, families, and food enthusiasts alike.
Each ticket includes a variety of tacos and one drink, allowing attendees to focus on the experience while discovering new flavors and supporting local culinary talent. The evening also encourages participation, as guests are invited to cast their votes and help decide which taco earns top honors.
Beyond the food, The Best Taco in the Bay supports an important mission. Proceeds benefit Vallarta Cares, a local nonprofit dedicated to improving quality of life for individuals and families in need. The organization began as a grassroots food bank during the pandemic and has grown into a broad community support network offering food assistance, medical care, educational programs, and disaster relief. By attending, guests contribute directly to programs that provide essential food assistance, medical care, and educational resources to vulnerable individuals and families throughout the Banderas Bay region.
