Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – One of this season’s most popular shows has been Come Together, starring Spencer Day and Effie Passero. This exciting musical performance has been featured each Tuesday at The Palm Cabaret.
Bringing his artistic sensibility that spans jazz, musical theater, cabaret, soul, fold and pop, Spencer Day returned this year as one of Vallarta’s favorites. Effie Passero, an American Idol finalist, has continued to develop a strong following here as word has spread about her incredible vocals and stunning duets.
Day uses intuition and improvisation as his primary tools to craft a sound that is familiar, yet fresh and innovative at the same time. His Vagabond album peaked at #11 on the Billboard Album Charts. The lead single, “Til You Come to Me,” peaked at #3 on the chart. His recent album, Daybreak, debuted at #1 on the itunes Jazz Charts.
Spencer’s latest single, “72 and Sunny,” marks his latest project, Angel City, using the city of Los Angeles as his backdrop. Angel City continues Spencer’s meditations on love, fame, narcissism, and how an artist can maintain integrity and authenticity in a world that so often values neither.
Together, Spencer and Effie weave together an unforgettable evening of music that creates, entertains and inspires.
