This year, the event moves to a stunning new location, Santo Coyote, a recent and exciting addition to the culinary landscape of Marina Vallarta.
A renowned dining destination in Guadalajara for over 25 years, Santo Coyote carries its legacy of uniting Mexican flavors, culture, and tradition to Puerto Vallarta. Gala guests will be among the first to enjoy its captivating new setting while savoring a buffet rich in heritage and storytelling.

The Sula Society: A Haven for Rescued Dogs
Founded in 2017 by Barbara and Lisa, a mother-daughter team from England, The Sula Society has grown into a lifeline for more than 300 rescue dogs. What began as a response to the overwhelming number of neglected and injured animals in Puerto Vallarta has evolved into a thriving shelter and adoption network.
On October 26, 2020, The Sula Society celebrated the opening of its permanent shelter compound. This vast, walled compound provides a welcoming space for rescue dogs to decompress, rehabilitate, and feel loved. It features outbuildings, a large lawn, an agility area, and even a river for the dogs to swim in.
The organization’s commitment goes beyond basic survival. In February 2021, expert dog trainer Roy joined the team, introducing an agility program, pack walks, and basic training to ensure the dogs are well-socialized and prepared for their “forever homes.” The shelter is a bustling center full of volunteers who provide constant interaction and love.
The Sula Society’s impact extends beyond local adoptions; they coordinate the flights of rescue dogs to various locations, including Canada and the USA, to secure the best possible homes. The society also provides essential community support through educational outreach and by funding veterinary care for low-income families in Puerto Vallarta, helping them keep the pets they love.
