Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – Jalisco is gearing up to host one of the most prominent international gatherings of Spanish-speaking travel influencers this fall. From October 29 to November 8, around 25 elite digital creators will converge on the state for the seventh edition of Travel Pop Up, bringing Jalisco’s rich cultural heritage, world-class culinary scene, and varied landscapes to global audiences across social media.
This year’s event marks a major milestone for the platform, which original founder Diana Rodríguez launched in Madrid back in 2019 under the Fun Travel Ven platform alongside Minka Creators. Supported directly by the Jalisco State Tourism Secretariat, the 2026 edition was officially unveiled at the Casa de México Foundation in Madrid to a crowd of international journalists, brand representatives, and digital storytellers.
The timing could not be better for the host state. Fresh off its role as a World Cup host city and recently named Best International Destination by readers of Condé Nast Traveler Spain, Jalisco is riding an unprecedented wave of global visibility. The state also secured a coveted spot in the MICHELIN Guide and joined the World Travel & Tourism Council as an official Destination Partner earlier this year.
During the launch in Madrid, Jalisco Tourism Secretary Michelle Fridman Hirsch emphasized the state’s deep ties to national identity, noting how honored Jalisco is to host an event that highlights global symbols like tequila and mariachi on an international stage.

Rather than relying on traditional promotional campaigns, the gathering leverages creator-driven storytelling to showcase the region. Rodríguez explained that modern tourism relies on authentic sharing rather than standard advertising, which is why the agenda spans everything from Jalisco’s 12 charm-filled Pueblos Mágicos (Magical Towns) to the coastal energy of Puerto Vallarta and the urban center of Guadalajara.
The lineup features heavyweights from across the Spanish-speaking digital world, including creators from Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, and the North American diaspora. Noted digital tourism leader Alan Estrada joins the roster alongside award-winning filmmakers Belén Delgado and Julio Barrios, motorcycle adventurer Agustín Ostos, Venezuelan creator Óscar Alejandro Pérez, and top travel writer Mariel Galán. Argentine creator Román Socias and Barranquilla Carnival delegate Fabio Zapata will also take part in the ten-day tour.
While the creators explore the state’s inland destinations and coastal spots, the public will have direct access to the event through two scheduled summits. On October 30, the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center will host the first public event, followed by a second gathering on November 7 at PALCCO in Guadalajara.
Both dates feature expert panels, keynotes on modern content strategy, networking opportunities for industry insiders, and an exhibition hall focused on ethical tourism initiatives and regional businesses. Early-bird tickets for both public sessions are available on the Goliiive platform through September 30.
