Vaccinations in Vallarta Postponed Until Next Week

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – The Ministry of Welfare reported that the second dose vaccination clinic for stragglers, which was set to begin on Wednesday, will be suspended and postponed until next week.

There will be around 10,000 doses of Sinovac administered at the La Lija Sports Unit next week, however, the previously announced vaccination dates (Dec. 8-10) have been cancelled.

It has not yet been determined when the vaccines will be applied next week, but the venue and the requirements to access the shots will be the same.

Requirements include a new copy of the registration form, proof of your first vaccine (if applicable), an official ID and proof of residence. Registration forms can be obtained at the federal mivacuna.salud.gob.mx website.

Please note that when the new vaccination clinic dates have been set they will only be administering second doses for those who received the Sinovac vaccine between November 3 and 5. There will be no first doses administered and the Sinovac vaccine will not be applied to those who have received the first dose of another brand.
