Puerto Vallarta’s charitable community will come together on March 26 to celebrate the sixth anniversary of Vallarta Cares with a special evening of entertainment, dining, and philanthropy.
The event will take place from 6 to 10 pm at Villa Quintamar, located along Carretera Costera a Barra de Navidad in Conchas Chinas. Guests can enjoy live performances by Sutton Lee Seymour and Evita Loca, accompanied by vocalist Alison Lo.
Hosted by Kevin Anthony, the event includes an open bar and dinner, offering attendees a full evening of entertainment and connection.
Tickets are priced at 2,000 pesos and are available at Thrive IV & MedSpa on Basilio Badillo. Proceeds from the celebration will directly support the organization’s growing list of community programs.
Founded during the pandemic as a grassroots food bank, Vallarta Cares has evolved into a wide-reaching support network that provides food assistance, medical and dental care, educational programs, and disaster relief. Its mission remains focused on strengthening community well-being and ensuring that vulnerable populations have consistent access to essential services.
Funds raised during the anniversary event will help sustain key initiatives, including the group’s soup kitchen and food pantry, emergency brigades, disaster response efforts, and access to clean drinking water and healthcare. Support will also expand an emergency preparedness program aimed at underserved communities that often face limited resources during times of crisis.
In addition to meeting immediate needs, Vallarta Cares continues to invest in long-term solutions through educational workshops that promote self-sufficiency. These efforts are designed to help individuals build stability and contribute to a stronger, more resilient community.
The timing of the fundraiser is especially important. As the high tourism season begins to wind down and seasonal residents depart, many workers in beach sales, hospitality, and cleaning sectors face reduced income and increased difficulty accessing food and healthcare.
Through events like this anniversary celebration, Vallarta Cares continues to bring people together to support those in need, ensuring that vital services remain available for families in Puerto Vallarta and throughout the Banderas Bay region.

The Vallarta Cares is 100% volunteer based, but all of their work would be impossible without the generosity of donors and supporters. If you would like to help the families of Puerto Vallarta get through trying times, please visit vallartacares.org for donation information.
