April 11, 2022 Update: ‘This is Gaga’ starring Maru Prado Conti debuted last Spring and has consistently sold out its performances over the past year. Even in low season, while we were still battling the pandemic, the show enjoyed incredible success. There is nothing like it anywhere else and it deserves every ounce of praise that people continue to offer. This past Saturday, I had the privilege of seeing this season’s version. Maru has added new songs, new costumes and more incredible choreography. ‘This is Gaga’ continues to be the ‘talk of the town.’ With dazzling costumes, amazing dancers and breathtaking live vocals, this is a show you’ll most definitely want to see!
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Back by popular demand at The Palm Cabaret & Bar, “This is Gaga” starring Maru Prado Conti delivers a thrilling musical tribute to the legendary Lady Gaga and creatively expresses in video, song and dance her incredible body of work. This breathtaking show has now moved to 9:30 pm on Saturdays through June.

Maru Prado Conti, from Rosario, Argentina, has performed in musical theater, participating in The Beauty and the Beast in Buenos Aires, as well as other musical theater productions. Maru is also a vocal coach and has a company called “Tu Experiencia Broadway.”
Maru decided to create her This is Gaga Tribute out of enormous respect for Lady Gaga as one of the most multi-talented entertainers of our time. Maru admires Gaga for her amazing singing, songwriting, acting and iconic support of the LGBTQ community. In her lyrics, Lady Gaga represents the feelings and thoughts of many people who suffer bullying and discrimination, encouraging them to feel free and love themselves.
Lady Gaga is known for her image reinventions and musical versatility. She began performing as a teenager, singing at open mic nights and acting in school plays. Gaga rose to prominence with her debut studio album, The Fame, and its chart-topping singles Just Dance and Poker Face. The album was later reissued to include The Fame Monster (2009), which yielded the successful singles Bad Romance, Telephone and Alejandro.
