Melody Topete Uribe, Ivanna Valentina Trujillo Segura, Luciana Sánchez Iñiguez, and Aranza Sánchez Iñiguez proudly represented their city, showcasing the remarkable talent thriving within Puerto Vallarta’s youth.
The prestigious ALOHA tournament drew over 700 students from 17 nations, including countries like Russia, China, Germany, India, and the Philippines. The competition is a true test of mental agility, challenging participants to solve 70 complex calculations in a mere five minutes, utilizing mental arithmetic techniques.
The Vallarta contingent delivered an outstanding showing. Ivanna Valentina Trujillo Segura earned a coveted first-place finish, solidifying her status as a two-time international champion. Melody Topete Uribe also claimed first place, recognized for her precision and remarkable skill. Luciana Sánchez Iñiguez secured an impressive second place, marking her fourth time on the podium as a top performer in this demanding discipline. Not to be outdone, Aranza Sánchez Iñiguez delivered a stellar performance, narrowly missing a podium spot with an excellent score.
