Webcams Offer Puerto Vallarta Views

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Planes grounded, doors locked, vacations cancelled. The new coronavirus is stopping many tourists from reaching Puerto Vallarta.

For some, it’s disappointing. But for the many who spend half their year here and the rest further north, it’s like being barred from entering their home.

But while many tourists have decided they can’t come to Puerto Vallarta for the time being, Puerto Vallarta can come to them.

Mix up a margarita, hook your laptop up to the big screen, and play one of these five webcams with beautiful views of Puerto Vallarta. You won’t be here physically, but you will be here spiritually.

Cuates y Cuetes
The rotating webcam set up by the beach-side restaurant offers lovely shots of Vallarta’s iconic Los Muertos Pier and the famous sail-like structure that defines it. The restaurant’s tables and shade-bringing umbrellas do obscure views of the sea slightly, but it’s a good chance to pretend you’re in the thick of the Puerto Vallarta beach action.

Grand Fiesta Americana
From high up, the webcam installed by the all-inclusive hotel offers a stunning view over the Bay of Banderas. The waters are a lot quieter than usual, so perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to spot a leaping humpback or two. Click HERE to see it live.

Hotel Mousai
Another bird’s-eye view over Banderas Bay will undoubtedly bring calm in these times of self-isolation. It’s a lovely reminder that the Pacific is there – as it has always been – and is waiting for your return. Click HERE to see it.

Hyatt Ziva
Conchas Chinas comes to your living room thanks to this lovely webcam set up by the Hyatt Ziva. With the beaches more empty than usual, this beautiful part of Puerto Vallarta has never looked so beautiful. The camera also catches some of the lovely jungle foliage that sets Vallarta apart from many other beach destinations around the world. Ahhh, bliss.

Vallarta Shores
Catch the golden sands and gently lapping waves of the Pacific thanks to the webcam set up by Vallarta Shores. Trained on Los Muertos beach, you’ll also get a view of Puerto Vallarta’s original Boy on the Seahorse statue. A sight to melt any Pata Salada’s heart.
