Lo de Marcos, Nayarit – Get ready for the Seventh Annual Taste of Lo de Marcos! This important community fundraiser just keeps getting better and better, and this year’s event, set to be held on Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 3:00 until 8:00 pm in the town’s Central Plaza, promises to be bigger and bolder than ever before!
This year’s Taste of Lo de Marcos will feature LIVE music from 3:30 pm until closing, along with local restaurants serving meals and ‘tastes’ that range from casual to Five Star Dining. There will also be several Artisanal Booths offering unique handcrafted items and jewelry for purchase scattered throughout the event that are sure to satisfy the shopper in all of us.
The Taste of Lo de Marcos is planned and organized by Galvan Real Estate and Services every year in order to bring more attention to the town and to raise money for the non-profit organizations that work to preserve the town’s unparalleled and unspoiled beauty.
All event proceeds will be divided equally between The Amigos de Lo de Marcos, A.C., who provide service and funding for many of the community projects undertaken in this coastal town; and the Citizens Actions Committee, which is responsible for organizing the traditional and cultural events that are held in Lo de Marcos every year.
