Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – Puerto Vallarta is set to honor one of Mexico’s most beloved culinary treasures, the taco, with the highly anticipated return of the Feria del Taco. This celebration of Mexican heritage and gastronomy will unfold on Sunday, April 6th, from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the scenic Puerto de Luna esplanade.
The taco, a dish that encapsulates the spirit of Mexican cuisine and serves as a global symbol of the nation’s identity, will take center stage. Attendees can anticipate an impressive array of over 40 distinct taco varieties, presented by 17 of Puerto Vallarta’s esteemed taquerias and restaurants. This year’s festival promises an expanded menu, featuring time-honored favorites like al pastor and carnitas, alongside innovative seafood and vegetarian creations.
Beyond the culinary delights, the festival will foster an engaging atmosphere, featuring live musical performances throughout the day. Local artisans will offer a selection of craft beers and agave distillates for tasting, complementing the refreshing aguas frescas and sweet treats from local bakeries. This event provides a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the rich flavors and cultural expressions of Mexico.
Following the success of last year’s festival, which drew over 3,000 attendees, organizers recommend arriving early to secure a prime spot. Admission to the Feria del Taco is free, and convenient parking will be available for a nominal fee of 50 pesos.
