SEAPAL Vallarta Modernizes and Expands Payment Points

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – As part of its modernization processes, SEAPAL Vallarta is making it easier for customers to pay their water bills through a collaboration with the BBVA banking institution.

The inclusion of technology in terms of customer service is essential to achieve the objectives of the current administration of the water operator, for which this agreement offers 40 units installed in BBVA branches throughout the city and 10 more distributed in ‘auto branches’ in places like the La Isla, Península and Galerías Vallarta shopping centers.

They’ve also installed new cash payment machines, called ‘practicajas’, that allow payments to be made without the need to be a BBVA account holder. However, to make the payment at the ATMs you must have a BBVA debit card account, from which the amount due to SEAPAL will be deducted.

Making payments at a ‘practicaja’ is a simple process, for this, you must have your water bill on hand so you can enter your account reference numbers and the amount due, which must be paid in full in a single operation.

This is a fast, easy and reliable way to pay your water bill, eliminating the need to go to the SEAPAL office or standing in line and paying service charges at a local bank. It also represents savings for the agency by dispensing with high fees and rents for the system previously used.

Payment at BBVA cash machines and ATMs will replace the SEAPAL Vallarta ATM network, since these are no longer efficient for the purpose for which they were intended, as they have faults and are constantly out of service.

SEAPAL Vallarta appreciates the support of its users and reaffirms its commitment to continue providing cutting-edge platforms, with an agile, easy and secure service.
