Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The PV Garden Club supports not only a more beautiful, clean and verdant city, but is also making it more attractive to tourism, thus creating a vibrant economy to support all the other great causes in Puerto Vallarta. Here’s the latest news from the PVGC.
Dear Members and Friends….
Our Planting and Monthly Social Season has arrived. Join the FUN on the Isla Rio Cuale (by the John Huston Statue) at 4:00 pm on December 13. Gardening enthusiasts and social butterflies alike are invited to come out and enjoy an afternoon of community, greenery, and fun.
If you like to play in the dirt, we have lots of flowers to plant in the Tree and Frida Gardens. If dirt isn’t your thing, come socialize with some very nice people and carry water and Sangria to the volunteers. (Sunny Rossi makes terrific Sangria!)
Planting Volunteers
Please bring gloves and a trowel if you have one. We have lots of other tools and hoses.
Social Volunteers
Please bring a friend or two and convince them to Join the Garden Club by clicking on our Membership Page.
Additional volunteer work dates across town will be announced at the kickoff.
The Garden Club’s motto, Creciendo Juntos (“Growing Together”), encapsulates a range of objectives… becoming closer culturally, learning together, creating beautiful green spaces, and caring for Puerto Vallarta, and each other, as the once small pueblo becomes a busy city.
