Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – On December 25, for the 22nd year in a row, the shores of Puerto Vallarta came alive with the spirit of Christmas, thanks to a heartwarming tradition: the annual toy giveaway in front of Blue Chairs Hotel. What began humbly as a small initiative by David Currier and Kevin Kalley has blossomed into an event that brings immense joy to hundreds of local children each year.

The essence of the tradition is simple yet impactful: children get to choose their own Christmas presents from among the many hanging from the palapas that line the beach. This touching event has grown over time, with more than 300 local children receiving a gift this year.

Nancy Plantz and Cheryl Nygaard are the driving forces behind this affective affair. Their dedication and commitment have been instrumental in ensuring the success of the initiative year after year. Their unwavering efforts reflect the true spirit of giving that defines the holiday season.

This annual tradition serves as a beacon of hope, spreading joy and happiness to the hearts of children and families alike. It is a true testament to the enduring power of generosity and compassion, proving that even the simplest acts of kindness can make the holiday season truly magical.

As families gathered on the sandy shores, the atmosphere was one of pure joy and excitement. This event is about more than just the tangible gifts; it’s about fostering a sense of community, love, and togetherness.

More than just a tradition, the annual Puerto Vallarta toy giveaway is a reminder of the importance of giving back and spreading joy during the holiday season. It’s a testament to the power of community and the enduring spirit of Christmas.
