Guadalajara/Vallarta singer, Diego Guerrero is the vocalist and MC of the night as he starts the evening with a tribute to Nina Simone. The Eclectic Project includes bass, drums, keyboards and vocals and gathers different times & genres mixing them into a soulful, complex music style. Timeless Grooves seeks to maintain the culture of live music, celebrating smooth, grooving tunes. Catch it on January 11th at 6:00 pm at The Palm Cabaret.
The Eclectic project features Diego Guerrero on vocals, Jared García on bass guitar, Edgar Bernache on keys and Hamlet Cuellar on drums. These local artists experiment with jazz, soul, Latin, pop and ballads, from Steve Wonder, Sade, Chet Baker, Nina Simone and more, taking their essence and turning it into a fresh, captivating sound.
Timeless Grooves is all about feeling each song as these expert musicians communicate each tune in a soothing, haunting expression of emotion. Diego Guerrero is a well-known vocalist in our community and Timeless Grooves shows his incredible musical skill and range. His soft-spoken narrative throughout the evening was just perfect as he communicated his heartfelt insight into each song.
A Thursday evening show in December attracted some of Puerto Vallarta’s most recognized music lovers. In the crowd were the Shaw sisters and their staff from Cassandra Shaw Jewelry (all decked out in gorgeous red holiday dresses), Mary Zack, Tom Bernes, Lydia Damato, Alison Lo, Alexander DeHilster, Barbara Ness Amundson and the list goes on.
